The Light I Hold by Luca Paci

 The prison key opens wide
 Fields where my wounds are
 Poppies of love and hope.

 Walls are rivers,
 Breath is wind
 Words are trees.

But the blood you spill is
 Choking your sons
 Your fists are empty
 Your seeds are weeds.

The light I hold will never fade.
